For Schools & Institutions

Third-Party Mental Health Support for Schools and Educational Institutions

PACC provides external, third-party counselling and mental health support for schools and educational institutions seeking timely, professional assistance for students and families experiencing emotional distress, relational challenges, or high-stress transitions.

The role of a PACC counsellor is to complement—not replace—existing school-based supports by offering clinically grounded, confidential care that helps stabilize students, support families, and reduce the escalation of concerns within the school environment.

Who This Service Is For

This service is designed for schools and institutions that:

  • Serve students experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, depression, or relational conflict

  • Support international or boarding students navigating transition, separation, or cultural adjustment

  • Require external mental health support beyond internal capacity

  • Seek a reliable third-party provider for short-term or ongoing counselling referrals

  • Value collaboration with an experienced clinician who understands school systems and constraints

A PACC counsellor has extensive experience working alongside school leadership, student services teams, and families within complex educational environments.

Types of Support Offered

 Individual Counselling for Students
Support for students experiencing emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, low mood, relational conflict, identity stress, or adjustment challenges.

Family & Parent Consultation
Collaborative work with parents or caregivers to address relational patterns, communication breakdowns, and family stress that may be impacting student wellbeing.

High-Stress & Transition Support
Focused support during periods of academic pressure, disciplinary stress, school transitions, or major life changes.

Risk-Informed, Preventative Care
Early intervention aimed at reducing escalation, supporting emotional containment, and promoting stability within the student’s academic and relational context.

How PACC Works With Schools

  • PACC operates as an independent third-party provider, maintaining clinical confidentiality while respecting institutional boundaries.

  • Communication with schools is clear, appropriate, and consent-based, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and role clarity.

  • PACC is familiar with the realities of school systems, including policies, duty of care, and the balance between student wellbeing and academic expectations.

  • The approach is attachment- and trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate.

Schools often value our ability to work at the intersection of:

  • Student wellbeing

  • Family dynamics

  • Institutional expectations

without increasing internal workload or complexity.

What Schools Can Expect

  • A calm, professional, and reliable external clinician

  • Respect for school culture, policies, and limits

  • Clinically sound support that prioritizes student safety and stability

  • Thoughtful collaboration rather than fragmented care

  • Clear boundaries between therapeutic work and institutional decision-making

Our goal is to support schools by helping students and families feel contained, understood, and better able to engage with the educational environment.

Engagement & Referrals

We currently work with schools on a referral basis and am open to developing ongoing third-party partnerships where appropriate.
